Camel caravan crossing the Sahara

Cultural · 11 days

Morocco — imperial cities and Sahara

Ten nights through riads, mountain villages, and a desert that quiets every conversation.

This is a classic-route Morocco done at human pace: three nights in Marrakech, drive over the High Atlas, two nights at a luxury Sahara camp, then up to Fes via the cedar forests. We stay in riads everywhere — central, intimate, and infinitely more atmospheric than chain hotels.

Frequently asked

  • Is Morocco safe for solo women?

Major cities and tourist routes are very safe; we recommend riads with female-friendly hosts and women-led cooperatives. Tell us in your enquiry and we'll route accordingly.

  • Is the desert too hot?

Mar–May and Sep–Nov are perfect. Jun–Aug is brutal in the south; we route you to coastal Morocco in summer instead.

The Sahara camp was unreal. Travel Acia clearly didn't outsource a thing — every host knew our names.
