Bali — temples and tides
Seven nights of slow mornings, smoky satay, and the kind of sunsets you stop photographing.
This is the Bali we send honeymooners and second-time visitors on. Skip the Seminyak strip; spend four nights in a Ubud villa with a private pool, then drop down to Amed on the volcanic east coast for three nights of black-sand snorkeling and grilled fish on the beach.
Trip highlights
Sunrise at Tirta Empul
Private blessing ceremony at the holy spring before the day-trippers arrive.
Babi guling lunch in Ubud
The best suckling pig on the island, in a warung you'd never find on TripAdvisor.
Reef snorkel at Jemeluk
Sloping wall reef five meters off the beach — turtles most mornings.
Balinese cooking class
Half-day with a local family — market, garden, kitchen, dining table.

Frequently asked
When should we go to Bali?
April–June and September–November are sweet spots — dry, warm, fewer people. July–August is also dry but busier. January–March is rainy season.
Can we add the Gili islands?
Easily. Add 2–3 nights at the end and we'll route you through Padang Bai by speedboat.
Is Amed boring after Ubud?
Quieter, not boring. Great food, great snorkeling, and zero scooter traffic. If you want nightlife add a finale night in Seminyak.
“They built us the Bali we kept hoping existed. The Amed villa was less than the Bumble dates we cancelled to plan this trip.”
