Iceland or Norway?
Both stunning, both expensive. Here's how to pick the one that fits your trip.
We get this question often. The short answer: Iceland is a self-drive adventure with extreme geology; Norway is a fjord-and-villages story with deep culture. They're not really competitors.
Pick Iceland if...
You want geology, glaciers, geysers, and the freedom of a ring road in a 4×4. You're OK with limited culinary scene outside Reykjavik. Aurora season is a priority.
Pick Norway if...
You want fjords, picturesque villages, world-class museums, and a more developed food scene. You'd rather take a coastal ferry than drive yourself.
